All Things Positive

Talk about a rough week!

Not only am I still trying to get back on track after coming back from the Blogalicious8 conference (re-cap post coming soon) but as with everyone else I am also still processing the results of last week’s election.

Oh and let me not forget all the things that are happening at work, home, etc.

And as easy as it could be to slide down that slippery slope into the land of Blah, it is important that I try my hardest to remain positive.

So this week I am putting all of my focus on the positive and good things that are happening in my life!

It’s all about thinking positive, staying positive, and making sure I spread nothing but positivity. Being positive is a mindset.  It is something that I have to work on everyday.  In the morning I set my intentions for the day to focus on all things positive by first giving thanks for all the good things that are in my life.

Having an amazing family.

Good health.

A great job.

Money in the bank.

Good friends.

Loving husband.

The sun shining on my face.

Hearing my daughter calling me “mommy” and my son’s calling me “mom”.

Having food to eat when I open up the refrigerator.

And the list goes on and on.

Staying positive then becomes easy because I can just think back on all the good that is in my life and around me.

Spreading positivity can be as simple as smiling to a stranger or simply saying hello.

When you sit back and really think about it, being positive isn’t that hard.
